Country Partners was set up in 1983 by Heather Heber Percy in Shropshire. She felt at the time that there was a special need for farmers and country people living in isolated areas to meet up with a view to friendship or marriage.

Heather subsequently set up The County Register, to cater for people from all walks of life.

- The County Register - a bespoke exclusive introductions agency for town and country people, including an International clientele, with offices in London, The County Register also interviews potential members in Gloucestershire/Winchester/Oxford/York and Edinburgh.

With over 20 years experience, Heather and Tamara provide a very personal service, tailored to each client's needs. All members are interviewed.

Along with her husband James, Tamara also now co-runs Mr & Mrs Smith the widely acclaimed Boutique Hotels Website Brand specialising in Boutique Hotels in London and globally.

James also co- runs The Green Room Events which is an events management company in London
